(✿◠‿◠)
Salam to yall everyone~~~

It has been a long time since I post something here (and to be honest, I just open blogger for a few times now). Alhamdulillah, my life has been good till now  (≧ω≦) . I'm one of Food Biotechnology students in USIM. I registered here just a mere 2 months ago and this is the first post since I've been here. (I feel so awkward to write a post because my last post is in the August) sigh.

wallpaper 1900x1200. copyright reserved
See? Ahah, I just tried the tutorial here and the result is quite disappointing, but still... I've tried keke. Speaking about USIM, the university held an event called I-inova (Islamic Innovation), an exhibition to promote innovations from high institutions in Malaysia. I participated as an exhibitor to promote my course yesterday. It was very hectic but fun! keke. More information about I-inova'11 here.

Okay, back to my studies... We as first years (or all of students) are compulsory to take part in co-curricular activities and it has credits hour depends on what activity that we enrolled in. I enrolled myself in Red Crescent Society and I need to take 3 credit hours for 3 semesters. Besides Red Crescent, I also joined Debate Club. Last Wednesday was an embarrassing day for me. I delivered my speech with a lot of troubles and it was a mere 10 sentence speech. T.T

So, I have ended my post and I beg to propose (LMAO!)

Facemarks/Emojis

Okay, this gonna be fast. Do you know smiley like this? :) or this :(. Of course you have knew about it right? It's called 1bit smiley, while the facemarks or emojis (like it's name, was invented in Japan, TEH HOME OF INVENTIONS) are 2bit smiley. I'll share some to you what I've found, okay~! Although this emojis are cuter, but as non-Japanese person, typing those japanese fonts are very hard, instead, I copy-paste them, or you can install a javascript on mozilla ( I can't access this because my mozilla is sucks. GOOGLE CHROME FTW).

IDK if some of you can't view this, but since I'm not a tech geek, I don't know how to help LOL.

Resepi ayam perap.

Okay, I've published a recipe on a dessert called "Resepi Puding Roti Jagung". Now, I'll share to all of you a marinated chicken recipe. Pastu korang cakaplah, elehh, setakat perap je. At least, I'm sharing something.

Bahan-bahan

  1. Separuh ayam, (dipotong kecil-kecil)
  2. Bawang besar-2 biji (lagi besar lagi bagus)
  3. Halia-1 inchi
  4. Bawang putih-6 ulas
  5. Serai-2 batang
  6. Lengkuas (xpenah gune lagi, so tataw)
  7. Garam & Gula
  8. Kicap manis
  9. Lada hitam kasar (giant hypermarket ade jual)
Cara-cara
  1. Potong bawang besar, halia, bawang putih, serai dan lengkuas.
  2. Blend semua bahan di atas.
  3. Lumurkan pada ayam, gaul/ramas bagi sekata
  4. Letaklah garam, gula, kicap manis dan lada hitam secukup rasa.
  5. Gaul/ramas sehingga semua bahan tersebut sebati, tambah air kalau rasa macam tak cukup
  6. Simpan dalam peti sejuk at least 1 jam.

“Unlike prayers, charity, and pilgrimage, fasting is an invisible act. Only Allah and the person who is fasting know whether he or she is fasting or not. One may quietly eat or drink something and no one will notice and no one can find out. However, the fasting person has made this commitment for the sake of Allah and he or she wants to guard the purity of his or her fast for the sake of Allah. Fasting thus teaches sincerity, and it helps a person learn to live by the principles of his or her faith regardless whether others know or do not know. This is the very purpose and essence of taqwa.”

MamaZakwan's Birthday Giveaway!

salam~

juz a third contest :)

p/s: Is it okay if I speaking here? ;)

Jika saya ada RM50, saya teringin nak kasi cupcakes? nahhh, maybe a very nice picture frame sebagai hadiah besday Nad@MamaZakwan sebab she's basically my cousin :) kekekeke... nope, that's not my biggest intention. The truth is, I thought a picture frame will be good because it can be inserted with her latest birthday pictures with her family members. Look, maybe it's seems like too old to be applicable now, but that's the best way to keep your best memories right???

keke, that's all from me, salam~

Dilemma~

salam~

P/s. In case some of the readers are students that want to do Tamhidi (matriculation) programme here, I don't intend to scare you'll. This is just my rants, kay. Thanks for reading!

okay we're now officially ended our lectures for 2nd Semester of Tamhidi for Session 2010/2011.

Like the other matriculation students, we have to choose the course that we want to futher our studies.
But the differences between us (Tamhidi) and matriculation that is, we don't have to compete or struggle to GET into a local university because Tamhidi students are half-university students. We also have given the preparation to study in degree studies, depending on our streams.

Me? I'm a student of Tamhidi of Science and Technology. It's a dilemma for me now to choose the courses provided by the Faculty of Science and Technology. It's hard because, I have no hope to struggle my four years in mathematics courses (Financial Math and Actuarial Science) or engineering courses (Applied Physics and Industrial Chemistry). The remainder? Food Biotechnology (FB) and Computer Science (ISA).

The similarities between them are

  1. I love both of the subjects: Biology and ICT (ops?)
  2. I love to struggle my four years with those subjects

The problem is, if I take Biology, I have to face with Maths and this applicable to ISA too. Then, recently, I just know that ISA is all about Maths! (Yeah, I've read books/articles that most of computer experts are experts in physics and maths) OMG~ haish....it's hard to choose.

Well, as a Muslim, I need to do solat sunat Istikharah and pray to Allah to give me NUR and HIDAYAH  to choose whatever best for me because, there's silver lining behind the clouds.

Now, that's all from me, thank you~

fortunately, with the help of my housemate, we could find the answer :D

the challenge is try to decipher this code!
(this is not a contest, but if you know the answer, please comment!)

[(letter before g)+(Real number)+(sin90)+(elog10)+(unit of force)+(half moon)+(twin of 5)]
[(flag without lag)+(cos90)+(radius of earth)+(image of 3)+(half of diamond)+(5th letter)+(P with 2 legs)]

think lost electron

salam

what a hectic week T.T

okay, ya'll must be wondering why I chose that line for my title today.
It's a quote by my friend. The words means THINK POSTIVE!

haha, found this recently.

why we should think lost of electron?
For me, so many things happened in this week. So many problems happened. Sigh.
And a lolwut thing happened today.

Unfortunately, girls' blocks in KKNC depleted its water resourse. OMG!
It's so hard to say about this.
And what's more? I recalled back funny moments in my hostel before.
what there's no water, we have to go to school to take a bath.
What a shame if somebody sees it HAHA.
In my case now, we have to go to deserted blocks
(because the blocks once occupied by the seniors who occupying a new hostel now.

But, what I said before? JUST THINK LOST ELECTRON!

Be optimistic in what happened to you (haha, it should goes to me :D)

IDK bout the SPM Results in my school, but glad that I could chat with my former chemistry teacher :)
sigh, I recalled about having myself placed in the middle of everything.
Couldn't go further, couldn't go back.

Now, that's all from me, thank you :)

Salam...

I was in charge in multimedia part of the drama (presentation and background musics), but overall it was... okay-lah (haha manglish alert there)
I was also participated in the acting part itself. I acted as Hagrid (try to imagine Hagrid in the real Harry Potter movie) but actually it was totally different I think :?..,

But sadly, no images/video because there is someone in charge for it. So depends.... arrgh IDK.

PLUS! ( I dun want to double post)

=.=!!!

salam to yall everyone~~~~
okay, today I'm gonna type different as usual
using Ctrl+E mode
(align centre-check MS Word)

2 days ago, I've stated that
the arabic drama performance need to be showed(?) yesterday,
but, it was postponed to today.
At first, I felt relieved but!!!!
It was shockingly ridiculous, all that we have planned were distorted
because of yeah, our fault mainly, because we are not prepared thoroughly
BUT THEN!!!
haha so much buts(!) today.

WHY MUST YOU ABANDONED WHAT WE HAVE PLANNED?
WHY DON'T YOU JUST GO ON WITH IT!!!!
ITS FOR YOUR OWN SAKE TOO!!!
OHHHH,
JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE PLANNED TO LEAVE
(THAT COULDN'T BE CONFIRMED YET)
THEN YOU COULD JUST SAY LIKE THIS???
"IF YOU DON'T WANT, JUST DO DRAMA WITHOUT ME"

=.=!!!

Sorry readers.

It's done but.....

Salam...

While I'm typing this post, I actually discussing with my group members about the drama performance TOMORROW, I want to restate again TOMORROW (28/2/2011) and it's not in English, but in ARABIC.

Mr Speaker (Ooops! Readers), I would like to restate again what we're going to do TOMORROW IS AN ARABIC DRAMA PERFORMANCE. (Could I get a title of the Best speaker with this line?)

Okay, what exactly that had done? Like I stated in previous entry, I entered NC Cup English Debate Competition and Alhamdulillah, all 3 Tamhidi teams (PT A, PT B & KKNC) qualified to quarter final next week. We cheered loudly in the hall at the afternoon today. What a good scene to see :)

ANDDDDDD

I just got a bad experience today. For the first time, I smelled the smell of alcohol. OHMYGOD! It's SMELLY that I want to vomit. Am I asking you readers, are non-muslim allowed to drink alcohol in front of the others (especially MUSLIMS). Please do comment below.
Sorry for vertical pic. Take a look around the bottom of the pic.
Do you recognize the drink there? I'm not disclosed it myself.

=.+!!! I'm eating my ice-cream beside them. URGH!

(I'm thinking to have a youtube account like this person, Can I? Can I? Can I?)

That's all from me, thank you :)

Double Combo on a Saturday

salam to ya'll everyone~~~

Double double double combo, (quoting a line from GD&TOP-Knockout)

Okay I'm just arrived at FSU cafe after attending a game in Netball Interfaculty League. Today, we competed with F.Med and we got a draw. Eventhough we are not have been defeated yet (I hope we will not defeated after this), this is our first draw (again, I hope this is the first and the last). But, F.Med (abbreviation of Faculty of Medic and Health Science) is a formidable opponent. Similar with us, they dont have been defeated yet. We draw 12-12.

Oh, sorry before I go further, I would like to introduce my position in the team. I'm the student team manager and also a coach(?) for the Tamhidi team. Alhamdulillah, although height is a minor problem, we are well composed with good players and teammates. Majority of us are from Tamhidi of Science and Technology, while the others are from Tamhidi of Accounting and also Tamhidi of Syariah and Law.

We have defeated 3 teams so far and like I stated before, a draw but we still have a long road to go. We haven't compete with Faculty of Syariah and Law, Faculty of Quran and Sunnah and Faculty of Science and Technology. These are the result so far

Tamhidi vs
FKP
(Faculty of Leadership and Management)
15-4
Tamhidi vs
FEM
(Faculty of Economy and Muamalat)
16-9
Tamhidi vs
FPBU
(Faculty of Major Language Studies)
25-6
Tamhidi vs
FPSK
(Faculty of Medic and Health Science)
12-12

Although there are 3 faculties left, there's not so much time left either. We will compete with FSU on 9th March while two remaining teams on 12th March. I hope Tamhidi will end this league with flying colours.
While I'm typing this, one event that I'm involved is still ongoing that is Kejohanan Debat Piala Naib Canselor (Vice-Canselor Debate Cup) but we just say NC Cup. Shocked? Oh don't worry, I'm just excused from the first round only. I'm representing Nilam Court(hostel for Tamhidi students for the time being) for English Debate Category. I feel so excited and don't say about my nervousness too because this is my first time getting involved in debating.

Our team for English Debate Category has 12 debaters, 2 teams with 4 members each will represent the Tamhidi Centre and 1 team (my team) with 4 members too will represent Nilam Court. I'm still waiting for the first round to be ended because I'm so eager to know the result (plus I'm feeling so bored now). I pray to Allah that I can go through this event with flying colours too, Insya-Allah. :)

XO, YO

Salam,

for those who are clueless, this is not XOXO or something like that, it's a defect or in biology, we call mutation to the chromosome numbers. In this case, we call this mutation, aneuploidy (the addition or loss to one chromosome)

Normally, we, humans, have 46 chromosomes (23 pairs) like this picture below that we call karyotype image.

A male human karyotype - google images

But, what is it the aneuploidy??? This post maybe difficult to understand for anybody that never learned about this before. I've stated the meaning of aneuploidy above, and this condition occurs when there is non-disjunction (failure of chromosomes to separate in anaphase I or II-better refer to other reference for more understanding about this topic)

google image
Okay, there's a picture for our discussion. Look, XO can survive (but because of the abnormality, it turned to a disease called Turner's syndrome) and... YO? Embryo formation is not possible.

a href="http://www.graphicshunt.com/health/images/turner_syndrome-1933.htm" target="_blank">Turner Syndrome

XX-female XY-male. What a relationship between all these???

We can say X is a woman, and Y, is a man. XO? A woman without man = survive, YO? A man without woman = ????

So, the conclusion is a woman can live without man, but a man can't live without a woman
