XO, YO

Salam,

for those who are clueless, this is not XOXO or something like that, it's a defect or in biology, we call mutation to the chromosome numbers. In this case, we call this mutation, aneuploidy (the addition or loss to one chromosome)

Normally, we, humans, have 46 chromosomes (23 pairs) like this picture below that we call karyotype image.

But, what is it the aneuploidy??? This post maybe difficult to understand for anybody that never learned about this before. I've stated the meaning of aneuploidy above, and this condition occurs when there is non-disjunction (failure of chromosomes to separate in anaphase I or II-better refer to other reference for more understanding about this topic)

Okay, there's a picture for our discussion. Look, XO can survive (but because of the abnormality, it turned to a disease called Turner's syndrome) and... YO? Embryo formation is not possible.

XX-female XY-male. What a relationship between all these???

We can say X is a woman, and Y, is a man. XO? A woman without man = survive, YO? A man without woman = ????

So, the conclusion is a woman can live without man, but a man can't live without a woman
